Núi thuộc Trường Sơn Nam, đỉnh cao thứ ba ở phía nam (2287 m), đường phân thuỷ giữa hai hệ sông Đa Nhim (sông Đồng Nai) và sông Cái Phan Rang (Ninh Thuận). Cấu tạo bằng đá riolit, granit. Rừng thường xanh nhiệt đới và cận nhiệt đới.
