1. to misplace, to mislay (to leave something in the wrong place and then forget where one put it)
2. to place (troops, an industry in a town, a meeting in place and time, or the like), to move, to relocate, to quarter, to transfer
3. to place an investment, to invest in (see förlag)
4. to publish; to act as a publisher (especially of books, i.e. to invest in book publishing)
