For the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands fell upon her.

“אמר רב ששת מנא אמינא לה דכתיב והיו לבית ישראל למכשול עון... ומכשול שוגג ועון מזיד”

Said Rav Sheshet, From where do I say that? As it is written, "And they became a stumbling block of iniquity unto the house of Israel."... And "stumbling block" refers to unintentionally, and "iniquity" refers to intentionality.
