Definiciones

1. (Prunus spinosa) Árbol o arbusto pequeño, estrechamente emparentado con el ciruelo, de corteza oscura y ramaje espinoso, nativo de Europa y el occidente asiático. Florece tempranamente, mostrando flores blancas muy fragantes, y fructifica produciendo una drupa, la endrina, de la que se elaboran conservas y licores. Se emplea también para setos perimetrales por sus fuertes aguijones.
