He promoted the doctrine of “inclusive / universal love” because he thought that the oppressor class were vicious and cruel because of their extravagance, wastefulness, subjugation and exploitation of the people. “Inclusive / universal love” means loving each other, loving others as one loves oneself, seeing and treating others' households like one's own household, and seeing and treating other countries like one's own country.
