THE High School Co-operative was founded in 1925 in Japan. By 1947, the School had trained over 700 specialists for the Japan’s Co-operatives movement, and since then, it had been officially recognized under the supervision of an administrative commission which included representatives from such organizations as the ASSOCIATED CENTRAL CO-OPERATIVE, the PRODUCE TRADE CO-OPERATIVE of the NATIONAL FEDERATION, and the AGRO-FORESTRY CO-OPERATIVE of the CENTRAL BANK.
