- even, at least; marks that something is acceptable or that one must make do with it, but that it is not totally desirable.
- even; used for emphasis after a limited time or quantity.
- Used in conditionals to add greater doubt, attaching either to an adverb expressing doubt or to the thing whose existence is being supposed.
- Used for emphasis in constructions involving 은 듯 (-eun deut, “as if”) or 은 것처럼 (-eun geot-cheoreom, “as if”).
- Used other than figuratively or idiomatically: see -이다 (-ida), -라도 (-rado).
