הגדרות

1. A doorpost, a doorjamb: either of the upright posts on either side of a door, which together support a lintel.
2. mezuzah (a piece of parchment inscribed with specific Hebrew verses from the Torah (Deuteronomy 6:4–9 and 11:13–21) and attached in a case to the doorpost of a house)

And they shall take of the blood, and strike [it] on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
