Dead flies turn the perfumer’s ointment fetid and putrid;

“וַיַּנִּיחוּ אֹתוֹ עַד־הַבֹּקֶר כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה מֹשֶׁה וְלֹא הִבְאִישׁ וְרִמָּה לֹא־הָיְתָה בּוֹ׃”

They put it at aside until morning as Moses had ordered, and it didn't smell foully and didn't have any maggots inside of it.
