Vozgrin chooses to compare the situation of Greenland with the "third" world (just as Jens Dahl and others). Such a culture-relativistic and dialectical approach is different from the approach which, in more recent "global" times, especially among economists, politicians and journalists, has almost become an indisputable mantra, namely to compare Greenland with Denmark and the Nordic countries or the EU coutnries, which is often a dubious expression of a Eurocentric/ahistorical approach, which leans on the structure-functionalistic development-interpretations of the 1950s-1960.
