The theatre in Kielce was set up in an old and empty warehouse. It was more spacious than the usual provincial theatres; it had ten boxes, a gallery above them, and benches on the fairly spacious ground floor. It had all been worn out and abandoned for a couple of years, during which time no troupe had shown up.
