New International Version translation: About three months later Judah was told, “Your daughter-in-law Tamar is guilty of prostitution, and as a result she is now pregnant.” Judah said, “Bring her out and have her burned to death!”

“U Ġonatan neħħa l-mantar li kellu fuqu, u tah lil David, u tah ukoll l-armatura tiegħu, u saħansitra x-xabla u l-qaws u l-ħżiem li kellu.”

New International Version translation: Jonathan took off the robe he was wearing and gave it to David, along with his tunic, and even his sword, his bow and his belt.
