The head of the Korpiloukko cabin was named Topi Topinpoika Romppanen — and his wife Riika. Much like Topi had a more decent form of his name, Tobias with an S and a 'soft P', his wife's name too had a fuller form: Retriika Euphrosyyne Saarantytär Juntunen. These finer names were never said in vain in the bustle of everyday life, only brought up during festivities, like in population registers, vaccinations or when registering for communion.
