Meaning of supertile | Babel Free

Noun CEFR B2

Definitions

A group of connected tiles that can be placed, like a single tile, in a generated landscape.

Examples

“But the only landscape that would ever move would be water — if you can call it landscape. No other land really moves except in geologic time. In order for moving landscape to work, you'll need supertiles, and lots of them.”
“Alternatively, you can make "supertiles" that have more than 1 hex/rectangle each to get grouping. 4-6 areas per supertile is probably O.K. Not all areas on supertile need to be the same, but theer^([sic]) should not be more than two different terrains on a supertile.”
