A Coast Salish language spoken by the Squamish people of the Pacific Northwest, spoken in southwestern British Columbia, Canada, particularly in Squamish reserves in North Vancouver and West Vancouver.

“In 2010, there were just 10 fluent Sḵwx̱wú7mesh sníchim speakers, according to figures from the Squamish Nation. Now, hundreds of people are actively learning the language.”
