“There were no stains. No blood. By the time she looked over at Walker, she knew he'd gotten what he'd wanted. His self-satisfied grin told her everything. “Made you look,” he said.”
“Trish muttered, “By the way, Jason, your sweater is on backwards.” He glanced down, but his sweater was on properly. He looked back at Trish, who now bore a knowing grin. “Made you look,” she said in a sly tone.”
“They don't tend to fall for the whole pointing one way as you run the other way “made you look” ruse.”
