- A Japanese clan, which became distinct from the Miura branch of the Taira clan during the late Heian period, came to prominence during the Sengoku period, and which became extinct during the early Edo period with the death of its twenty-second head, 蘆(あし)名(な)千(せん)鶴(つる)丸(まる) (Ashina Sentsurumaru, 1650–1653).
