Definitions

Of or pertaining to the Alps or features related to the Alpine region. It is often used in geology and geography to describe types of mountain ranges or terrain that resemble the Alps. For example, "alpidic" might describe mountain chains formed through similar tectonic processes or have similar geological features to those found in the Alps.
