Definitions

1. A pilot of an aircraft.
2. A person employed in one of several aviation-adjacent professions other than flight crew, such as a mechanic or air traffic controller.
3. A member of an air force.
4. A person of a rank in the U.S. Air Force above airman basic and below airman first class.
5. A naval seaman, especially one in the U.S. Navy, who works on and/or handles aircraft.
