Secondly, the duty to report lies solely on the building overseer, who must, in his/her report, account for whether there is a need for further clarification of the effects of the project.

The Danish People's Party also asked to have it clarified in the bill that foreigners who do not fulfill the duty to report may be punished with prison of up to a year.

“I den nye proposition er det foreskrevet, at meldepligten skal gjælde alle, som agter at opholde sig i riget over tre døgn; og paabudet omfatter ogsaa de udlændinger, som ved lovens ikrafttræden imidlertidig opholder sig inden landets grænser.”

In the new proposition, it is written that the duty to report is to be effective for all persons who intend to stay in the realm for more than 72 hours; and this rule also includes those foreigners who, at the time at which the law comes into effect, are temporarily staying within the borders of the country.

“Meldepligt til forsvaret for mænd fra 16 til 65 år, for kvinder fra 17 til 50 år.”

Duty to report to the defense for men from 16 to 65 years, for women, from 17 to 50 years.
