The eight leaders of these forces include Ikú (“personification of death”), Àrùn (“personification of disease”), Ẹ̀gbà (“personification of paralysis”), Èpè (“personification of curses”), Òfò (“personification of loss”), Ẹ̀wọ̀n (“personification of imprisonment”), Ọ̀ràn (“personification of trouble, problems”), and Èṣe (“personification of affliction”).
