คำนิยาม

1. ในยามค่ำคืนที่ค่อนไปทางดึก
2. กลางคืน, ช่วงเวลาตั้งแต่ดวงอาทิตย์ตกถึงดวงอาทิตย์ขึ้น
3. ผิดเวลา (ใช้แก่การกินอาหารผิดเวลาตามที่พระวินัยกำหนด นับตั้งแต่เที่ยงแล้วไปจนถึงอรุณขึ้น)

ตัวอย่าง

“ให้ประชาชนที่มีความจำเป็นต้องออกนอกเคหะสถานในเวลาวิกาลได้รับความสะดวกมากขึ้น”

Allowing the people who need to come out of homes in night hours to enjoy more convenience,

“จำเลยที่ ๒ พาผู้เสียหายที่ ๒ ไปพบจำเลยที่ ๑ ที่ขนำที่เกิดเหตุในยามวิกาล...เป็นเหตุให้จำเลยที่ ๑ กระทำชำเราผู้เสียหายที่ ๒ ถือได้ว่า การกระทำของจำเลยที่ ๒ เป็นการช่วยเหลือให้ความสะดวกแก่จำเลยที่ ๑ ในการกระทำชำเราผู้เสียหายที่ ๒”

At nighttime, the 2nd Accused brought the 2nd Victim to see the 1st Accused at the shed where the crime scene took place,...by which cause the 1st Accused committed intercourse upon the 2nd Victim. It could be deemed that the acts of the 2nd Accused were the aiding of or the giving of convenience to the 1st Accused in committing intercourse upon the 2nd Victim.
