Section 357 [When] anyone helps conceal, helps dispose of, helps take away, buys, accepts a pledge of, or receives in whatever manner a thing which has been obtained through the commission of an offence, if such offence bears any of the characteristics of theft, snatching, extortion, blackmailing, robbery, gang-robbery, fraud, embezzlement, or embezzlement of things by public officials, that one commits an offence of handling stolen goods and shall be liable to imprisonment for not more than five years, or a fine of not exceeding one hundred thousand baht, or both.
