No matter how Heaven and Earth bar us, we are not parted; neither rebirth nor reincarnation can take us away from each other; as we are meant to meet [each other as a result of our] pubbesannivāsa.

“บุพเพสันนิวาส แปลว่า เคยเป็นคู่กันมาแต่ปางก่อน หรือเคยอยู่ร่วมกันมาก่อน จึงต้องกลับมาพบเจอกันและได้รักกันอีกครั้ง”

Pubbesannivāsa means [we] have been a couple in a former life or have formerly been together. That is why [we] are meant to return to and meet each other and come to love each other again.

“ความรักระหว่างพระโพธิสัตว์กับพระนางพิมพาที่ได้เกิดมาเป็นคู่รัก...เป็นเอนกอนันตชาติจนถึงการเกิดชาติสุดท้าย...ถือได้ว่าเป็นความรักที่เกิดขึ้นด้วยบุพเพสันนิวาสโดยแท้”

The love between the Bodhisattva and Lady Bimbā who have been born as a loving couple...for numerous lives up to their latest life...can be considered a love that has truly been created by pubbesannivāsa.

“มีหนังสือหลายเล่มที่เขาเคยอ่านแล้วพูดถึงเรื่องบุพเพสันนิวาส คู่รักที่ต้องตามกันมาทุกภพชาติ ที่เมื่อมาเห็นกันในนาทีแรก ในพริบตาแรก ในครั้งแรก ดวงจิตของคนทั้งคู่ก็วิ่งเข้าหากันในทันที อย่างจำกันได้ อย่างที่เคยอยู่ร่วมกัน เคยรักกัน”

There are many books which he has read and speak about pubbesannivāsa – a loving couple that is meant to follow each other in every life or through every reincarnation. At the very first minute, very first blink, very first time of seeing each other, the minds of the pair run into each other without hesitation, as if they could remember each other, as if they had once been together, as if they had once been in love with each other.

“ทำบุญร่วมชาติตักบาตรร่วมขัน มีบุพเพสันนิวาสต่อกัน เจ้าทั้งสองจึงได้มาพบพาน”

You had jointly made merits in the same life and had jointly offered food [to priests] using the same bowl, and you have pubbesannivāsa for each other, so you two come to meet [each other again].
