Section 366/1 Anyone who commits [any act] in order to satisfy his own desire by penetrating the genital organ, anus, or oral cavity of a corpse using his own genital organ, shall be liable to imprisonment for not more than three years, or a fine of not exceeding sixty thousand baht, or both.

“มาตรา ๓๖๖/๒ ผู้ใดกระทำอนาจารแก่ศพต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินสองปี หรือปรับไม่เกินสี่หมื่นบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ”

Section 366/2 Anyone who commits an act of indecency upon a corpse shall be liable to imprisonment for not more than two years, or a fine of not exceeding forty thousand baht, or both.

“มาตรา ๒๔๔ ถ้าศาลหรือพนักงานฝ่ายปกครองหรือตำรวจชั้นผู้ใหญ่เห็นจำเป็น...ที่จะต้องตรวจศพ แม้ว่าจะได้บรรจุหรือฝังแล้วก็ตาม ให้มีอำนาจสั่งให้เอาศพนั้นให้ผู้เชี่ยวชาญตรวจได้ แต่การกระทำตามคำสั่งดังกล่าวจะต้องคำนึงถึงหลักทางศาสนาและไม่ก่อให้เกิดอันตรายร้ายแรงอย่างอื่น”

Section 244 If the court or high-ranking administrative or police officer deems it necessary...to examine a corpse, even though [the corpse] has already been coffined or buried, [the court or officer] shall have the power to order that the corpse be sent to an expert for examination. But [in] executing the said order, regard must be paid to religious principles and no other serious danger shall be caused.
