คำนิยาม

1. องค์กรเอกชนที่จัดกิจกรรมการกุศลแก่ส่วนรวมโดยไม่แสวงหาผลกำไร
2. ทรัพย์สินที่จัดสรรไว้โดยเฉพาะสำหรับวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อการกุศลสาธารณะการศาสนา ศิลปะ วิทยาศาสตร์ วรรณคดี การศึกษา หรือเพื่อสาธารณประโยชน์อย่างอื่น โดยมิได้มุ่งหาผลประโยชน์มาแบ่งปันกัน และได้จดทะเบียนตามประมวลกฎหมายแพ่งและพาณิชย์แล้ว

Section 110 A foundation consists of property which is allocated specifically for the purposes of public charity, religious affairs, the arts, science, literature, [or] education, or for other public interest, without being intended for the seeking of benefit for sharing, and [which] has been registered in accordance with the provisions of this Code.
