คำนิยาม

1. มีความเป็นห่วงกังวลเพราะรักใคร่เป็นต้น
2. ก่อให้เกิดพันธะที่จะต้องปฏิบัติตาม
3. ก่อหนี้สินผูกมัดรัฐบาลให้ต้องจ่ายในงบประมาณแผ่นดินต่อ ๆ ไป

ตัวอย่าง

“...ในกรณีการเพิกถอนคำสั่งตั้งผู้ปกครองที่ต้องห้ามตามมาตรา ๑๕๘๗ (๑) หรือ (๒) การกระทำของผู้ปกครองไม่ผูกพันผู้เยาว์ ไม่ว่าบุคคลภายนอกจะได้กระทำการโดยสุจริตหรือไม่”

...In the case of revoking a guardian appointment order which is prohibited according to Section 1587 (1) or (2), the conduct of the guardian does not bind the minor, whether or not the third party has acted in good faith.
