In the sentence "M. R. Štefánik, a Slovak astronomer and politician, died in a plane crash," the part between commas is an apposition.

“Po svadbe sa mladý muž nasťahoval k neveste a jej rodičom ako prístavok.”

After the wedding, the young man moved in with the bride and her parents as a live-in husband.
