2. Megiddo or Megiddon: an ancient city of Canaan, located on the southern rim of the plain of Esdraelon 10 km (6 miles) from Mount Carmel.
3. Megiddo (a kibbutz in northern Israel). Located in the Jezreel Valley, it falls under the jurisdiction of Megiddo Regional Council.
