“אוֹי־לְךָ מוֹאָב אָבַדְתָּ עַם־כְּמוֹשׁ נָתַן בָּנָיו פְּלֵיטִם וּבְנֹתָיו בַּשְּׁבִית לְמֶלֶךְ אֱמֹרִי סִיחוֹן׃”

Woe to you, Moab; you have been destroyed, people of Chemosh! It made his sons fugitives, and his daughters [it gave] into captivity to the Amorite king Sihon.

“אָז יִבְנֶה שְׁלֹמֹה בָּמָה לִכְמוֹשׁ שִׁקֻּץ מוֹאָב בָּהָר אֲשֶׁר עַל־פְּנֵי יְרוּשָׁלָ͏ִם וּלְמֹלֶךְ שִׁקֻּץ בְּנֵי עַמּוֹן׃”

Solomon was then building a sanctuary for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, on the hill before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.
