Meaning of تظاهر | Babel Free

Noun CEFR B1
ta.zaː.ˈhur

Definitions

  1. pretending, feigning, dissimulation
  2. political demonstration, march

Examples

Islam is not solely about praying or fasting or performing the acts of worship that have been prescribed by the Holy Lawgiver. It is possible for people to intend to show off and pretend by performing their obligatory duties, while in actuality not believing in it. Islam is a religion of belief and action. Without action belief is useless, and a Muslim must couple belief with action. Those who feign Islam while practically destroying its foundations and principles and waging war against the laws and regulations of the Quran are in no way Muslims.
