Examples

“1927, La Sankta Biblio, Nombroj (Numbers) 11, 5', page 129”

We remember the fishes, that we ate in Egypt freely, the cucumbers and the melons and the leeks and the onions and the bulbs of garlic.

(please add an English translation of this quotation) The jubilee symbol (or "melon" or "rugby ball") is seemingly better suited for our contact with outsiders than a star, although I advise including a tiny star in the jubilee symbol, but, for its speakers, the symbol of Esperanto will seemingly always remain a green star.

In contrast to UEA, which uses the "melon" (the jubilee symbol), LF-koop doesn't avoid the green star nor, at least temporarily, the bold-lettered frontispiece to Heroldo.

(please add an English translation of this quotation) For example, it gives the impression that we only started inventing symbols (the star, the melon) in 1983 -- in the source (the webpage the link leads to) the year is rightly given as 1893!
