1. A complex of buildings in New York City, three of which were destroyed in the 9/11 attacks, including the Twin Towers. New buildings were built to replace the destroyed buildings, one of the new buildings is the Freedom Tower.
2. A building that houses all the facilities associated with global commerce.
3. The previous configuration of this complex, from 1968 until 9/11: the former World Trade Center.
