faux Cyrillic
Definitions
The usage of Cyrillic letters in place of visually similar (though not necessarily phonetically similar) Roman letters in languages which use the Roman alphabet, to create a more 'Russian' feel for a text.
Examples
“The line 'IБ ТНIБ ТЯIP ЯEДГГУ ИEСEББДЯУ?' (for 'Is this trip⟳ really necessary') is a piece of faux Cyrillic found in Frank Zappa's song 'I don't wanna get⟳ drafted'.”
