- Any plant of several species of Euonymus:
- A winged spindle or winged euonymus (Euonymus alatus), with vivid magenta Fall foliage, native to eastern Asia common as an ornamental and invasive in North America.
- A western burning bush (Euonymus occidentalis), native to western North America
- An eastern burning bush (Euonymus atropurpureus), an ornamental shrub native to the midwestern US that bears a red berry.
- A white dittany (Dictamnus albus), a perennial herb which gives off so much essential oil that it can sometimes be lit and will burn briefly without harming the plant.
