In the first line are two letters that we no longer have in the alphabet, namely þ, which corresponds to English th, and ð, which is a soft D.

It also said something about the restoration of the old city quarter. Pelle read the word [bydel] as one[? with a short vowel?], with stress on the first syllable and soft D.
