“عندما يكون على الفقراء دفع ثمن حماية البيئة بشكل مزدوج، مرة من خلال تحمل التلوث الناتج من استخدامات الأغنياء وثمن الرفاهية التي يتمتع بها غيرهم، أو عندما يحاول هؤلاء الفقراء الاستفادة بما لديهم من موارد ويكون الثمن تلوثا يضيف إلى معاناة العالم، الذي يتذكر البيئة في تلك الحالة ويطالب الفقراء بحماية الأرض. يصبح السؤال المطروح من قبل البعض بوصفه كلمة حق يراد بها باطل أحيانا، حسب الطرح والسياق والنتائج التي يتم الوصول إليها، هو كيف يطالب من يلوث البيئة في خارج غابات الأمازون، السكان في الدول التي توجد فيها تلك الغابات بالحفاظ عليها، حتى يتاح للذين لا يحافظون على البيئة بالضرورة في دولهم المزيد من الفوائد الاقتصادية المصحوبة بالمزيد من التلوث الذي يدفع ثمنه الجميع، بمن في ذلك سكان الدول التي تقع فيها غابات الأمازون، رغم حرمانهم من المميزات الاقتصادية؟”

When the poor have to pay the cost of protecting the environment twice, one time by bearing the pollution resulting from the use of the rich and the cost of welfare that people other than them enjoy, or when those poor people try to utilise what they have of resources and the cost becomes pollution that adds to the suffering of the world, who remembers the environment in that status and requests from poor people to protect the Earth. The question posed by some becomes, as it is considered a word of truth by which falsehood is sought, according to the presentation, the context, and the results acquired, is how can those who pollute the environment outside the Amazon forests, people in countries in which those forests to preserve it, so that those that do not necessarily protect the environment in their countries get more economic benefits accompanied with more pollution whose cost everybody pays, including the inhabitants of the countries in which the Amazon forests are located, despite depriving them of the economic benefits?
