“دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا نُبَيْشَةُ الْخَيْرِ وَنَحْنُ نَأْكُلُ فِي قَصْعَةٍ فَحَدَّثَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ صَلَّى اللّٰه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ”مَنْ أَكَلَ فِي قَصْعَةٍ ثُمَّ لَحِسَهَا ٱسْتَغْفَرَتْ لَهُ الْقَصْعَةُ“.”

Nubayša Al-Ḵayr entered upon us while we were eating from a bowl. He narrated to us that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever eats from a bowl, then licks it, the bowl will seek forgiveness for him.”
